… distributes diaries to all her financial members

The Nigerian Bar Association, Ikere Ekiti Branch has officially unveiled her maiden edition of Lawyer’s Diary. The Branch which was officially inaugurated as the 97th Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association by the then NBA President,J. B Daudu, SAN on 22nd June, 2012 has her members in both Nigeria and Diaspora.
The unveiling event which took place at the Branch’s Monthly meeting held at Chief Wole Olanipekun Bar Centre, Ikere Ekiti on Tuesday, 10th January, 2023 had in attendance, members of the Branch, former Branch Executives among others.
The Chairman of the Branch, Asiwaju Dr. Michael Afolayan, while speaking at the event appreciated all members of the Branch for their support and the confidence reposed in him and other executive members. Afolayan however sought their continuous support towards achieving the planned lofty agenda for the Branch’s growth.
The Chairman noted that the initiative to distribute free diary to lawyers in the Branch is part of the Branch’s welfare agenda under his leadership . He added that the diary is one of the best in Nigeria and details useful features that will provide members with necessary toolkits and resources which will assist them to effectively carry out their professional and official functions.
A member of the Branch and Aspirant to the Ilejemeje Constituency Seat in Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Iyabo Fakunle Okieimen while receiving her copy of the diary, appreciated the Afolayan led Executive, for the initiative and prayed that God will continue to bless and protect members of the Branch.
In another development, the Chairman also informed members of the new and Ultra-Modern High Court Complex, Ikere-Ekiti Judicial Division, constructed by the Grand Patron of the Branch, Chief Wole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN which is set to be commissioned on Thursday, 19th January, 2023.
