EKIRS Boss charges Staff to be proactive in discharge of their duties.

The Chairman Ekiti State Internal Revenue Services, Mr. Olaniran Olatona has charged Signage and Advertisement Agency staff to be proactive in discharging their duties.

While explaining this in the Agency office Ado Ekiti, the chairman of Internal Revenue Services,who oversees the Agency reminded the staff that the Signage and Advertisement Agency is to generate revenue for the State government .

He opined that the old ways of doing things has gone and charged operations team to be proactive and diligent while exercising their core duties responsibilities.

Olatona reiterated commitment of Ekiti State government in terms of infrastructure development that would attract investors to the state.

EKIRS Boss warned that anyone caught with shady business would face the penalty  in line with extant laws and regulations guiding the operations of the Agency.

He also stressed that the Agency has reviewed the bills levied on the customers against year 2022 and charged the operational team to work assiduously to justify the confidence imposed on them.

Olatona echoed that the meeting with Advertising Practitioners Association has agreed that  practitioners would change their old ways of billboards to modern technology that operates in some states of the federation.
