Ekiti AGILE Monitors Projects …Calls for strict compliance with School Improvement Plan

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment in Ekiti State(AGILE) has visited all schools in Ado Local Government area  of the State, to monitor and inspects the various AGILE Projects executed in the schools .

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education in Ekiti State, Dr. Olabimpe Aderiye mni, who led the AGILE team, and some other stakeholders from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, while inspecting the AGILE projects warned that any school who fails to comply with the School Improvement Plan(SIP)or do a substandard job will not benefits from the Large Grants approved by the World Bank for all public secondary schools in the state.

Aderiye while inspecting some projects sites commended the School Based Management Committee of some schools for the project  well executed.

While welcoming the team, the Principal of Christ Girls Grammar School, Dr. Mrs Modupe Ale, appreciated the State Government for creating a good learning and conducive environment for school girls, noting that the school management will continue to contribute her quota and ensure successful completion of all AGILE projects in the school.

At Mary Immaculate Girls Grammar School, the school principal, Mrs Oluwasanmi Mary, thanked the AGILE team for her intervention in making learning environment conducive for students and also called for more grants to renovate dilapidated buildings in the School.

Also, the Principal of Ola Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Mr. Adebayo Rasaki,  appreciated the State Government and AGILE for the laboratory project executed in the school,and the solar system procured for the students.

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) is a world bank assisted project domiciled at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
