Ekiti First Lady Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations.

The Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, has congratulated Muslim faithful across the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging them to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, compassion and peaceful coexistence.


In a statement made available to news men in Ado -Ekiti, Dr. Oyebanji described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that reflects the values of faith, obedience and selflessness, which she said remain essential to building a harmonious society.

She called on Muslims to reflect on the exemplary virtues of Prophet Mohammed and the teachings of Islam, which promote peace, love, tolerance and service to humanity.


The First Lady also encouraged the faithful to continue to emulate the noble character of the Prophet by showing kindness to one another, supporting the less privileged and promoting unity within their communities.


According to her, the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir serves as a reminder of the need for total submission to the will of God, sacrifice for humanity and commitment to righteous living.


Dr. Oyebanji commended the Muslim community in Ekiti State for its prayers and contributions to the peace, progress and development of the state.


She wished Muslims a joyful and peaceful celebration and prayed for continued divine blessings, harmony and prosperity for Ekiti State and Nigeria.
