IMBIBE FOCUS AND INDUSTRIOUS ATTITUDE DURING ACTIVE SERVICE. .....ADARAN CHARGES CIVIL SERVANTS

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Art Culture and Tourism, Mrs Abosede Adaran has charged the civil servants to be focused and hard working always to imprint indelible legacy that would outlive them while in active service.      

           

Adaran gave the charge during the ceremony organized by the Ministry in honour of a retiring Director, Mr Festus Olusesan Abegunde, at the State Cultural Center, Ado Ekiti, .                 

                                    

The PS also encouraged all civil servants to maximize their time positively during their service and be committed wholeheartedly to their duties, adding that history shall tell about each and everyone of them, long after their exit from active service.       

                                             

 She described the celebrant as loyal, faithful and very hard working gentleman, who dedicated his active service years for growth and development of the ministry and the state


Adaran admonished the gathering, mostly public servants, to inculcate the good habit while still in service to enhance a better end stressing that the Ministry will continue to make reference to the legacy left behind by the retiring Officer.                                   

       

While eulogizing the celebrant, the former Executive Secretary, Mr Abayomi Longe said he was not surprised seeing this colourful celebration in honor of Mr Abegunde, describing the retiring Director as a faithful, loyal and honest personality, with an advice to remaining Staff to be more active and productive in their daily endeavours.                        


Speaking on behalf of the Artists and the Standing Troupe, Mr Kokoirin Arinde attested to the good behavior of the Director and said the subordinate Artists will forever be thankful to the Director and follow the path he has laid.

                               

While responding, the celebrant Mr Festus Olusesan Abegunde, who was until his retirement the Director of Art, appreciated God for granting him the grace to successfully attained the retirement age in the service ofEkiti State.


Mr Abegunde expressed his gratitude to the leadership and staff of the ministry, particularly, members of his department for giving him the needed support while in office. 

                                        

In attendance to celebrate Mr Abegunde were among others ; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Art Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Abosede Mercy Adaran , the Permanent Secretary Office of Establishment and Service Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Titilope, all the Directors in the Ministry, Staff and relatives.
