Violence: INEC Cancels Election in 7 polling Units

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cancelled election process in seven polling units of Kogi East Senatorial District of Kofi State.

The cancellation affected two polling units in Anyigba, Dekina local government area and five others in Omala council area of the State.

The cancellation followed the disruption of polls by thugs in the polling units. 

It was gathered that the thugs shot into the air and caused massive panicking, leading to an abrupt end to the voting process.

One of the units cancelled was Unit 01, Abejukolo ward in Omala .
