OYEBANJI, WIFE VOTE AT POLLING UNIT

Ekiti state Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji and his wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji have voted at Okelele polling unit 3, ward 6, Ikogosi Ekiti.


They arrived the polling unit at exactly 11:06am.


The Governor and his wife joined the queue, exchanged pleasantries with voters and officials as they proceeded to get accredited and cast their votes at exactly 11:23am.


While addressing journalists, Oyebanji lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on what he described as “remarkable improvement” in the Nation’s Electoral system. 


The Governor described the process as seamless, and fast. He commended the turnout of the electorate.

“I have just cast my vote this is a remarkable improvement. People came out well. The turn out is impressive. People came out to exercise their franchise despite the fuel scarcity.


“We must commend the Federal government and INEC on the use of the new technology (BVAS) It’s going to make election seamless”, He said.
