EKSUBEB Opens Portal for Recruitment of Primary School Teachers

 

The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB) has commenced the recruitment of qualified teachers into public primary and basic schools across the state.

A public notice issued by the Permanent Secretary of EKSUBEB, Mr. Mike Omolayo, on Tuesday invited holders of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and Bachelor's degrees in Education to apply.

According to the notice, the online application portal will open at 12 noon on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and close at 12 noon on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026.

It stated that interested applicants should submit their applications through the official recruitment portal at https://sprecruit.eksu.edu.ng.

The board explained that applicants who successfully complete the online registration must print their application forms, which will serve as entry passes for the recruitment examination scheduled for Aug. 14 and Aug. 15.

EKSUBEB stated that the recruitment exercise is rural-based and that successful candidates would be posted to public primary and basic schools in rural communities across the state.

It advised applicants unwilling to serve in rural areas not to apply, noting that no postings would be made to schools under the Local Government Education Authorities in Ado-Ekiti and Ikere.

The board also stressed that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and warned applicants to disregard individuals or groups demanding payment or promising employment in exchange for money.

It urged qualified and interested candidates to take advantage of the opportunity by submitting their applications within the stipulated period.
