The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election.
Oyebanji polled a total of 319,224 votes to defeat his two closest challengers, Dr Wole Okuyede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Ambassador Dare Bejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The PDP candidate came second with 40,543 votes, while the ADC candidate finished third with 12,872 votes.
