The Chairman of the Nawair Ud Deen (NUD), Ekiti Zone, Alhaji Dauda, has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting members the strength, perseverance, and commitment to successfully complete this year’s Ramadan fast.
Speaking in a message to members and the wider Muslim community, Alhaji Dauda emphasized that the spiritual journey undertaken during the holy month should not end with its conclusion.
He noted that Ramadan serves as a period of deep reflection, self-discipline, and renewed devotion, urging adherents to sustain these virtues in their daily lives.
“I give glory to Almighty Allah for giving us the strength, perseverance, commitment, and sound minds to complete this year’s Ramadan. Indeed, He alone is worthy of worship,” he stated.
The chairman also extended his heartfelt appreciation to members of the society for their unwavering support and dedication toward advancing the growth and unity of the society across Ekiti State. He commended their collective efforts, describing them as instrumental in moving the society forward despite challenges.
Alhaji Dauda further called on members to remain steadfast in the teachings of Ramadan, including acts of charity, humility, patience, and obedience to Allah. According to him, the true essence of Ramadan lies not only in fasting but in the transformation of character and the strengthening of faith.
As we mark the end of Ramadan, let us continue to uphold its teachings. The discipline, compassion, and devotion we practiced during the holy month should guide our actions throughout the year, he added.
He concluded by encouraging unity, peace, and mutual support among members and the broader community, stressing that sustained commitment to these values would foster progress and harmony within the society and Ekiti at large.
