The Special Adviser/Director-General, Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), Dr John Ekundayo, made the pledge in Ado-Ekiti during a site inspection of the ongoing ultra-modern abattoir and model veterinary hospital being funded under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) project.
He said quality assurance, design conformity and value optimisation remained non-negotiable deliverables of the administration.
Ekundayo said the government would not compromise on execution integrity, noting that both facilities were high-impact assets critical to livestock value-chain development, public health outcomes and economic growth.
He stressed that project delivery must align fully with established technical guidelines and approved designs.
Providing an update, the OTSD director-general said the ultra-modern abattoir would be equipped with a compliant slaughter hall, modern meat processing lines, cold storage facilities, lairage, integrated waste management systems and administrative infrastructure to ensure hygienic and efficient meat handling

He added that the model veterinary hospital was designed to deliver comprehensive animal healthcare services, supported by modern diagnostic and treatment facilities to strengthen disease surveillance and livestock productivity across the state.
While acknowledging satisfactory progress, Ekundayo urged contractors to sustain momentum, adhere strictly to quality benchmarks and meet delivery timelines.
The inspection team, comprising special assistants and senior government officials, conducted a detailed technical review of key project components to ensure alignment with approved specifications.
Ekundayo said the exercise reinforced the government’s performance management framework, underscoring proactive monitoring, transparency, accountability and timely delivery of strategic infrastructure for the benefit of residents.
