| Hon. Sunday Adunmo, Ekiti State Project Coordinator, RAAMP |
The State Project Coordinator of
Ekiti State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Hon Sunday
Adunmo has charged staff of the Project to be more proactive in 2023.
Adunmo who gave the charge during
the new year prayer programme organized for staff of the Project, stressed the
need for them to redouble their efforts this year as farmers and rural dwellers
are looking up to Ekiti RAAMP for the construction of their roads.
According to the Project Coordinator,
the new year would be full of construction works hence the need for staff to
give their best by doing the job diligently and conscientiously.
He noted that the RAAMP road
projects would fast-track the actualization of the vision of the Governor
Biodun Oyebanji-led administration to develop the agriculture sector by
providing incentives that would make agri-business more lucrative for farmers
in the State.
“This is a year of activities and
the whole State is looking up to us. So, we must sit down, look at our work
plans and redouble our efforts to deliver on the jobs we have to do this year. Please
do your job conscientiously because we have no excuse to fail. Be proactive and
work as a team. We must do more of team work in order to achieve the set goals
this year”, Adunmo charged.
In their separate remarks, the
staff promised to make team work, hard work and diligence their watchwords for the
year.
The Staff prayed for the government
and people of Ekiti State, the Development Partners who co-fund the project and
