OSETOBA BOW OUT OF OFFICE

The General Manager, Ekiti State Sports Council, Mr Kunle Adeyemi has lauded the personality and dedication of , Mrs Olusola Osetoba who bows out as the Chairman of the State’s Sports Council on the 31st of August, 2022.

Mr Adeyemi revealed this in his office at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday as he said that the Emure Ekiti born sports enthusiast brought about a positive change to the sports council.

While also describing her as a detailed Sports administrator “who lives and breathes Sports” Adeyemi said that he was amazed by the immense level of support shown to him by Mrs Osetoba since his assumption of office as the General Manager of the State’s Sports Council and wishes her well in her future endeavors. 

He noted that who he would not mind working with her again in any capacity considering the working relationship he had enjoyed within the short time of being together.

According to him, her focus in Sports development birthed the noble ideal of a legacy of hard work and service due to her rare passion for grassroots sports development and female emancipation through sports.

“You showed commitment to sports development and you helped in bringing peace and harmony to the council, you came, you saw and you delivered” he said.

“On behalf of the management and staff of Ekiti State Sports Council, I want to congratulate you ma for a successful tenure as Chairman of the Board at the council. We pray God grants you long life and good health to be able to serve our dear state again”

The GM hinted that he would not hesitate to lean on her and continue to seek her assistance when necessary, adding that her wealth of experience would play a pivotal role in driving sports forward in the State.
