The Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Projects, Mr Olubunmi Talabi, has reaffirmed Governor Biodun Oyebanji's commitment to consolidating the achievements of his administration through enhanced infrastructural development, economic transformation and improved social welfare.

Talabi made the assertion while reacting to Oyebanji's victory in the recently concluded governorship election in the state.

He said the governor would repay the confidence reposed in him by the electorate through the implementation of policies and projects aimed at promoting economic growth, ensuring the protection of lives and property, advancing sustainable educational development and fostering positive societal values.

According to him, the outcome of the election, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is monumental in the history of Ekiti State and reflects the people's endorsement of the governor's performance over the last 44 months.

Talabi noted that Oyebanji had earned the confidence of the people through the successful execution of numerous people-oriented programmes and projects since assuming office.

He added that the governor's inclusive and participatory style of governance had promoted political stability and peaceful coexistence among residents, irrespective of political affiliations.

The Special Adviser  congratulated the governor, his wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the electoral victory.

He also urged residents of the state to sustain their support for the administration and work towards surpassing the voter turnout recorded in the governorship election during the 2027 general elections.
