In an attempt to sustain the human capacity development initiatives of the incumbent government of the excellent performances of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Chairman Ajoni Local Council Development Area, Hon Michael Ogungbemi has introduced an empowerment programme to the bodies of teachers across Ikole Local Government Area.
Hon Ogungbemi lunched the program during an interactive section with the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools ASUSS and Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT at Ikole Ekiti.
According to the chairman, the empowerment programme would be conducted by Ajoni LCDA in partnership with a foreign non governmental organization known as Interweaves Solutions from the United States of America.
He therefore enjoined the unions to key into the program which would provide access to self development and aid their individual growth.
