The Senior Special Assistant on Religious Matter to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Chief Tajudeen Adejumo, the Balogun Oyopeju Ikere-Ekiti has announced the demise of his mother, Mrs Sikirat Adejumo.
Chief Adejumo in a statement personally made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on sunday morning officially announced the death of his mother.
The statement reads in part, “It is with heavy heart we announce the death of our beloved and caring mother, Mrs Sikirat Adejumo which took place earlier today sunday 30th October, 2022."
He described the deceased as a virtuous woman who lived a fulfilled life and will be missed by her children and the family adding that she has been buried according to Islamic rite at her residence in Ikere-Ekiti.
